Completed -Planned Water System Upgrade – Possible Service Impacts March 11–20, 2025

A critical water system upgrade will occur from Tuesday, March 11, 2025, through Thursday, March 20, 2025, rain could delay or extend the work. In coordination with Eastern Municipal Water District (EMWD), this project will replace aging valves and meters while relocating key infrastructure to improve reliability, safety, and system performance.

Dates:
Tuesday, March 11 – Thursday, March 20, 2025 (Work could be delayed or extended due to rain.)

Affected Areas:
Customers on the following streets may experience service disruptions. (Affected homes will be called or hand-delivered notice if expected to experience a service disruption.)

• Merrell Avenue
• Sunset Avenue
• Electric Avenue
• Ramona Avenue
• Sky Drive
• Nuevo Road
• Central Avenue

Potential Impact

• Possible water outages at higher elevations
• Low water pressure throughout the system
• Potential for air in the lines and discolored water

How to Prepare:

• Store water in advance for drinking and flushing toilets.
• Limit water use, including irrigation, during the work period.
• Check water clarity before washing laundry to avoid discoloration of laundered fabrics.
